Turkish Cypriot Womens' Project (TCWP)
The Turkish Cypriot Women’s Project was initially set up in November 1984 to target the needs of Turkish Cypriot women. A small group of Turkish speaking women got together to advise and support these women to help alleviate isolation and encourage them to access vital services.
That small organisation has grown today into one of London’s major Turkish speaking women’s organisations, which provides a high quality and caring service to all Turkish Cypriot, Turkish and Kurdish women.
Aims to enhance and advance Turkish speaking women's lives through advice, educational and recreational activities. Services include generic advice/refugee advice, supporting people programme, and services for the elderly including advice sessions, luncheon club and activities.
