Outward's Young People's Service
We have a dedicated team of friendly and experienced support professionals who work with young people in crisis living in Hackney. The aim of the service is to deliver high-quality housing-related support services to enable vulnerable young people and young parents to exercise choice, retain independence and reduce social exclusion.
We help young people who may have a chaotic lifestyle or complex needs, who may have been serially excluded from other services, and who may be at risk of homelessness or losing independence. The young people we help may also have substance misuse issues and a history of offending.
We provide short-term shared accommodation and a range of support, including:
- Access to education and training
- Life skills development
- Advice and guidance
- Befriending support
- Tenancy maintenance
- Move-on resettlement
- Post-resettlement support.
